Black McDonald’s Operators Association – Chicagoland Chapter (BMOA). A dynamic coalition of Black McDonald’s franchise owners united by a shared commitment to economic empowerment, youth development, and community uplift across the greater Chicago area. Through strategic partnerships, philanthropic initiatives, and hands-on engagement, BMOA members leverage their platforms to invest in education, entrepreneurship, and neighborhood revitalization.
From sponsoring college scholarships and youth mentorship programs to hosting health fairs, cultural celebrations, and workforce readiness events, BMOA Chicagoland stands as a beacon of Black excellence and civic leadership. Their work not only strengthens local communities but also amplifies the legacy of Black-owned businesses within one of the world’s most iconic brands.
TS Design Studio was selected to lead the design and development of BMOA Chicagoland’s official website—a digital hub that would reflect the organization’s legacy, showcase its members, and amplify the events and partnerships that define its impact.
The goal: Create a platform that honors BMOA’s history while driving engagement, visibility, and connection with the communities they serve.
Our Approach

Discovery & Interviews: Engaged BMOA leadership and members to understand their mission, milestones, and community priorities.
Information Architecture: Designed a user-friendly site map that highlights:

Visual Identity: Honored BMOA’s brand with bold colors, clean typography, and imagery that reflects Black excellence, entrepreneurship, and civic pride.
