BLACK WOMEN'S EXPO/BWe NEXT

Identity Rebrand / Event Graphics
Website Development / Video Production

The Black Women’s Expo (BWE) has long been a cultural cornerstone—celebrating, empowering, and elevating Black women across generations. As the event evolved to meet the needs of a new era, TS Design Studio was tasked with leading a bold visual rebrand that would honor its legacy while positioning it for future growth. The goal: transform Black Wommen’s Expo into BWe NEXT, a forward-facing platform that speaks to innovation, intergenerational impact, and unapologetic excellence.

Creative Approach

We began with deep listening to the BWe executive team, reviewing past materials, and mapping audience aspirations. The new identity, BWe Next, emerged as a dynamic evolution:

  • Name & Logo: A sleek, modern wordmark with layered symbolism

  • Visual System: Vibrant, confident, and versatile. We introduced a bold color palette, expressive typography, and modular design elements adaptable across platforms.

Creative Execution

Once the brand was approved, TS Design Studio led a full-scale rollout across every touchpoint of the event experience:

  • Event Graphics: From entrance signage to stage backdrops, Seminar Signs, we designed a cohesive visual language that welcomed attendees and amplified the BWe Next vibe.

  • Social Media & Media Graphics: We developed branded templates, animations, and promotional assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and digital ads—driving engagement and ticket sales.

  • Billboards, Rail & Bus Signage: Our outdoor campaign blanketed Chicago and surrounding areas with high-impact visuals, ensuring visibility across neighborhoods and transit hubs.

  • Website Development: We built a responsive, user-friendly site that housed event schedules, exhibitor info, ticketing, and livestream access—optimized for mobile and accessibility.

  • Screen Graphics: From panel transitions to sponsor shoutouts, we created dynamic screen visuals for the main stage and breakout sessions.

  • Newspaper/Magazine Ads: We crafted print-ready ads for regional and national publications, targeting legacy audiences and reinforcing the event’s cultural significance

Video & Live Production

TS Design Studio also led the digital broadcast and documentation of BWe Next:

  • Live Stream: We produced and streamed the main stage programming, ensuring remote audiences could participate in real time.
  • Video Production: Our team captured event highlights, interviews, and atmosphere footage—delivering polished recap videos and full-length recordings of key sessions.
  • Post-Event Assets: We edited and packaged content for future marketing, partner reports, and social media storytelling.
